Peer Mentoring Program

Peer Mentors act as representatives for their academic program, while helping to mentor a new student in adjusting to Franklin Cummings Tech and college life. As part of the Mentoring team, you can help promote campus services and offices, and design programming and engagement events. As a result, you’ll further develop your own communication, organizational, and leadership skills! A great way to boost your resume and connect with the community!

What it takes to become Peer Mentor:

  • You have at least a 2.7 cumulative GPA (the average GPA of all your semesters combined).
  • You maintain an overall attendance rate of at least 80%
  • You are available for monthly meetings (virtual of in-person) and 1/1 meetings with the Peer Mentoring Coordinator
  • You are available for bi-weekly check-in meetings with your mentee/mentor
  • You have a strong desire to support your peers and develop your leadership skills
