Continuing Education and Workforce Development

GraduateOur goal is to transform postsecondary career and technical education in ways that strengthen the Commonwealth’s workforce and give individuals from all walks of life a chance at entering or being promoted within a tech or trade career. Toward that goal, we have enhanced and expanded our program offerings, options, and formats to better serve individual adult learners, as well as employers and nonprofits seeking to upskill their employees and members.

See the chart below to learn about the programs that have what you (or your organization) need to succeed.

CONTINUING EDUCATION WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
The Division of Professional and Continuing Studies (DPCS) offers Continuing Education programs for individuals. Often offered online or in hybrid format, DPCS offerings include individual courses (credit and non-credit), as well as focused certificate and degree programs designed to fit your busy schedule. The Office of Strategic Workforce Development Partnerships works closely with employers and community organizations to create affordable, flexible workforce development programs to ensure that these organizations’ greatest assets—their employees or members—stay ahead of industry trends to boost productivity, employee satisfaction, and support recruiting and retention efforts.
