Engineering Technology Programs

Objectives

The Engineering Technology program offers a two-year Associate Degree with concentrations in Advanced Manufacturing & Automation Technology, Mechatronics Technology, and Renewable Energy Technology.  These programs aim to prepare and train students in cross-disciplinary areas develop skills necessary to be employed in the areas of Mechanical engineering, Electronics engineering, Robotics engineering, Renewable Energy and Advanced Manufacturing technology.

Student Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Associate Degree program, the graduate will be able to:

  • Design, install, maintain, and repair high-tech electronics, automation, energy, and manufacturing systems.
  • Set up equipment, troubleshoot processes, conduct experiments, and collect data.
  • Understand the design and development end of the process, using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) equipment or constructing prototypes.
  • Employ hands-on skills necessary to support the cost-effective processing, manufacturing and automation methods.
  • Build a profile that is suitable for a wide range of advanced career pathways leading to various engineering positions, project management positions, and technologist positions.
