PROGRAM DETAILS
Degree: Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management
Two Options:
Career focus/Specialization: Entrepreneurship and Management
Our Business Management bachelor’s degree is offered as both a traditional four-year hybrid program, as well a two-year, fully online option for those who already hold an associate degree. Whichever program you choose, you will learn the essentials of starting and running a business, leading teams, and managing complex projects.
Both versions of the program teach generalist business skills with a unique focus on specialized technical and trade skills. Our Business Management bachelor’s program is specially designed for those who want to move into management roles or to expand their managerial responsibilities, as well as professionals interested in starting or expanding their own business.
If you dream of starting your own business, our dedicated faculty will help you to develop your business plan and strategy, communicate your vision in a compelling way, and launch and grow your business.
Earn a bachelor’s degree while you work full-time! Our entrepreneurship-focused business program is designed for working adults who already hold an associate degree in a STEM field and who need online classes and flexible scheduling.
If you already have experience with a business area covered by the curriculum, you can petition to receive credit instead of taking the class, shortening the time to graduation. Also, any STEM-related associate degree can be stacked into this bachelor’s degree, eliminating two years of coursework. You can transfer in as many as 60 credits from your associate degree program.
Designed for working adults, the program is offered part-time, online, in the evenings or asynchronously.
Nationally, people with bachelor’s degrees earn 88% more than those with high school diplomas, and 58% more than those with associate degrees (source: Aspen Economic Strategy Group). In many companies, having a bachelor’s degree is required to advance in the managerial ranks. For those who would prefer to be their own boss, entrepreneurship offers the satisfaction of building one’s own business and growing personal wealth.
