Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology welcomes transfer students, so we make our transfer process as easy and stress-free as possible. Transfer Process
- Complete our online application. Under Applicant Type, choose “Transfer” from the dropdown menu.
- Send your official college transcript(s) to admissions@franklincummings.edu. Your official college transcript(s) have to be requested from the original college(s), in order for us to transfer credits.
- If you do not have your associate or bachelor’s degree, you also need to send your high school final transcript to admissions@franklincummings.edu.
- We will give you an admissions decision within two weeks of receiving your transcripts.
What Transfer Credits Do We Accept?
- Credits must be from a regionally accredited US college or university and you must have received a grade of C or above in the class. Foreign college transcripts must include a course-by-course evaluation by CED (www.cedevaluations.com) in Boston or by another US independent evaluation agency.
- Courses must meet our degree requirements.
- We accept transfer credits up to 49% of the credits required for your Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology degree.
- Our registrar and your department chair will make the final decision on which credits we can accept.
