No high school diploma? No problem! You can still enroll with Franklin Cummings Tech!
Ability to Benefit (ATB) gives eligible students the opportunity to take college courses with Franklin Cummings Tech, even if they do not yet have a high school diploma. Through ATB, you can access financial aid.
Eligibility
In order to participate in the Ability to Benefit program, prospective students need to:
- Be eligible for federal student aid
- NOT have a high school diploma or equivalent (HiSET, GED)
- Have passed an approved test or completed two college courses (at least six credits total) toward one of our certificate or degree programs — see below for more details
- Apply to Franklin Cummings Tech in one of our degree or certificate programs
How do I apply?
- The first step is to complete two college courses (at least six credits total). Contact Gary Chin, Assistant Director for Continuing Education (cewp@franklincummings.edu) for more information and to enroll in your first two college courses. If you pass these courses with a grade of C or higher, you can qualify for financial aid toward any of our certificate or degree programs!
- Applicants may attempt no more than a total of 16 credits toward ATB eligibility.
