We know that applying to college can be overwhelming because we’ve been through it ourselves. You’re making big choices about your future and you need straight answers, not a sales pitch. Our Enrollment team promises to do our best to take the pressure, confusion, and anxiety out of the college enrollment process. You don’t have to navigate the path to college by yourself—we’re ready to help you every step of the way.

Min Chen

Min Chen, BA, MAAssistant Dean of Admissions

Languages spoken: Chinese, English
Formerly an International Affairs Officer at the Beijing Film Academy, Min joined the Admissions team in October of 2006. She was born and raised in China. She received her BA at Foreign Affairs College in English and International Studies, specializing in Diplomacy. In December of 2005, she received her double Master’s in Communications and Political Science from the University of Oregon. Min serves students from around the world! 是的,我说中文(普通话)

Marie Gendron

Marie Gendron, BSMarketing and CRM Specialist

Marie joined the college in 2019. She oversees Enrollment marketing and serves as administrator for the college’s CRM and website. She is a communications and marketing professional (and former journalist) with excellent writing skills, extensive digital publishing experience, a knack for new technology, and an eye for content marketing opportunities. She was formerly Assistant Director of Marketing at Wheelock College. She holds a bachelors’ degree in Journalism from Boston University.

Michael Goldstein

Michael Goldstein, BA, MPPChief Innovation Officer

Michael is an entrepreneur focused on increasing access to college degrees and great jobs. Before Franklin Cummings Tech, he served as a senior leader for Breakthrough Providence, Youth Tech Entrepreneurs, City Year, Verto Education, and Year Up. While at Year Up, he led fundraising and recruitment efforts, launched new campuses and academic tracks, and served as Chief of Staff for the National Scalable Solutions Team. Michael was born and raised in Lower Manhattan and is a product of New York public schools.

Jackie Grant

Jackie Grant, BS, MFAAssistant Director of Admissions

With a background in film and higher education, Jackie brings a unique approach to guiding students on their paths to achieving their goals. She understands that not every path is linear, and having been a first-generation student herself, she knows the importance of helping students get the proper resources to help them towards their success. After receiving her BS in Communications from Ohio University and her MFA from Emerson College, Jackie is excited to be part of the Franklin Cummings Tech community!

Kweisi Johnson

Kweisi Johnson, BSAssociate Director of Admissions

With an academic background in marketing and professional experience in data entry and customer service, Kweisi is excited to bring his experience to Franklin Cummings Tech. He’s focused on getting the right students the correct resources to help match them with the many in-demand programs the college offers. Having recently relocated to the Boston area from New York City, Kweisi has come to resonate with the hardworking nature and courteous ways of the folks of Boston. The diverse and welcoming nature of our staff and faculty translate to a positive environment that he looks forward to contributing to for years to come!

Kassidy Lawrence

Kassidy Lawrence, BS, MEdAssistant Director of Admissions

Kassidy is a western Massachusetts native and moved to Boston in 2022 to pursue her master’s degree in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies with a concentration in Higher Ed. Administration at Boston University. She was a student worker for Mount Holyoke College Admissions for 3 years during her undergraduate and served two years in AmeriCorps as a Boston Public Schools College & Career Adviser. Her experience gives the Franklin Cummings Tech Admissions team a unique perspective on college access for the surrounding communities. Kassidy hopes to develop close relationships with the diverse faculty and staff, and she cannot wait to continue pursuing her passion of higher education access for the students of the Greater Boston community.

Kaitlyn Mastrangelo

Kaitlyn Mastrangelo, BSEnrollment Operations Specialist

Kaitlyn joined the Admissions team after serving as a teacher’s assistant at the Italian Home for Children Pallotta School.  After internships at Own Up, Clean Harbors Safety Kleen, and Boston PIC, she found education to be the most rewarding field. Kaitlyn graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology from University of Massachusetts-Boston. She believes everyone should have the tools and resources to earn the education they deserve. Kaitlyn is excited to join a team that shares the same passion for connecting students to their full potential.

Kaissa Oulhadj

Kaissa OulhadjAssistant Director of Admissions

Languages spoken:  Arabic, French, Tamazight, English, conversational Spanish and some ASL
Kaissa brings a unique blend of experience from her background in healthcare spanning seven years and her multilingual upbringing in North Africa. Fluent in five languages, she is deeply passionate about facilitating opportunities for individuals and the next generation. Her journey began with a degree in Software Development from Franklin Cummings Tech, where she honed her analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Committed to serving others and fostering diversity, she is dedicated to guiding students towards their academic and personal aspirations.

Lara Tavares

Lara Tavares, BA, MADirector of Early College

Lara Tavares returns to the college after having served in the Early College Access Department at Massasoit Community College. During her initial tenure as Associate Director of Early College Initiative, Lara created community partnerships, recruited diverse sets of local students, advised high school juniors and seniors, designed culturally inclusive programming, and co-developed a peer mentorship network for the Advanced Standing Associates Program. She is a graduate of Jeremiah E. Burke High School, Brandeis (BA), and Boston College (MA).
