Accepted Students

Congratulations! Welcome!

Congratulations on your acceptance to Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology! Getting into college is a big deal, and you deserve to be proud of this achievement. We believe you are a strong candidate to thrive in our college and beyond.

So, what’s next?

FOR FINANCIAL AID:

  1. Complete Your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form to maximize your financial aid from all possible sources.
Get started at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa and list Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology (School Code 002151) as one of the schools to receive your FAFSA info. Once you complete your financial aid paperwork, including the verification process, if needed, we’ll send you an official Financial Aid Award Letter with exactly how much you’d have to pay after financial aid and scholarships.

    • Spring 2025 Students: Complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA form
    • Fall 2025 Students: Complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA form
  2. Secure Your Place in the Next Class
Note: These steps are required by January 5 for Spring 2025 students and July  26 for Fall 2025 students. If you miss the deadline, you can still become a student, but you’ll receive a new Financial Aid Award Letter, which will likely include less scholarship support.

    • Submit your Tuition Deposit
Pay online at https://commerce.cashnet.com/bfit33. The $100 deposit will be applied to your first semester’s bill. Please note that Fall tuition deposits received after June 1st and Spring deposits received after Dec. 1st are not refundable.
    • Complete the Acceptance Response Form
Secure your place in the upcoming class by completing the form at https://franklincummings.tfaforms.net/4713077.
    • Complete Your Master Promissory Note
The Master Promissory Note (MPN) is a legal document where you promise to repay your student loan(s) and any added interest and fees to the U.S. Department of Education. It also explains the terms and conditions of your loan(s). You may receive more than one loan under an MPN.
    • Complete Your 20-Minute Entrance Loan Counseling
Entrance counseling ensures you understand your student loan. You’ll learn what a loan is, how interest works, your options for repayment, and how to avoid delinquency and default. When you’re finished, a record of your completion will be sent to the schools you selected, and you can then receive your student loan money.

FOR ADMISSIONS:

  1. Send Us Your Immunization Records
Complete the Student Immunization Record Form (pdf) or get a copy of your immunization records from your doctor, and email it to admissions@franklincummings.edu or fax it to 617-451-8602. If you are 30 years of age or older, Immunization Records are not required.
