Naomi Schuman, 2024 graduate of the Opticianry associate degree program, got her start at Franklin Cummings Tech after Instructor George Bourque Jr. encouraged her to become an optician while she was employed at his optical store as front desk staff. While a student, she attended the Opticianry Association leadership conference, and after graduating received her state license from the Opticians Association of Massachusetts. She is now employed full time with Concord Optical as an optician and her goal is to become a Master Optician.
