Welcome! Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology (commonly known as Franklin Cummings Tech) is proud to  partner with Amazon Career Choice to make college more affordable for Amazon employees. Through Amazon’s Career Choice program, warehouse and delivery employees around Greater Boston can receive tuition assistance for certificate and degree programs in a wide variety of technical fields.

Amazon’s Career Choice program is uniquely designed for Amazon associates interested in learning about and pursuing a future at Amazon—or elsewhere. This partnership focuses on connecting our students with roles in Amazon’s warehouses around Greater Boston.
Here are the key benefits:
  • After just 90 days of employment, eligible Amazon student-employees are able to participate in Career Choice opportunities and can qualify for $2,600-$5,200 in tuition assistance per year for as many years as they work at Amazon.
  • Students can choose shifts that work around their classes and studies.
  • Full-time Amazon employees (40+ hours) can receive $5,200 in tuition assistance per year, and part-time employees (20-30 hours) can receive $2,600 in tuition assistance per year. Tuition assistance does not have to be repaid.

Eligible Programs

Franklin Cummings Tech is a nonprofit technical college with a mission to educate students in advanced technologies that align with the needs of high-demand industries. Along with a solid technical foundation and hands-on experience, the college emphasizes team building, problem solving, and communication skills to succeed in today’s workforce. Many programs offer a day or evening option, as well as hybrid classes, to fit your schedule.

The tuition discount can be applied to any of our undergraduate technology programs, which include:

  • Automotive Technology
  • Computer Information Technology/Cybersecurity
  • Construction Management
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Engineering Technology (including concentrations in Building Energy Management, Manufacturing and Automation Technology, Mechatronics Technology, and Renewable Energy Technology)
  • HVAC&R Technology
  • Industrial Electronics Technology
  • Opticianry
  • Practical Electricity
