Women make up just 16% of leadership in the tech industry—let’s change that! Women in Tech & Trades is a student-lead organization that’s mission is to empower and support women – identifying students pursuing STEM fields. Through mentorship, advocacy, and educational initiatives, we aim to cultivate an inclusive and thriving community where every woman feels valued and equipped to excel in their industry. We focus on women’s issues as they relate to Franklin Cummings Tech, as well as how to navigate the larger Tech & Trades communities post-graduation. Through your involvement with WIT&T, you will have the opportunity to network and connect with other women in STEM fields, plan and meet for regular meetings, coordinate volunteer projects, participate in job shadowing, highlight and celebrate Women in STEM during Women’s History Month, and much more.
