Franklin Honor Society Inducts Spring 2021 Members

The prestigious Franklin Honor Society hosted its spring induction ceremony on March 8, welcoming six new student members.
Spearheaded by Abby McDonough, Peer Mentoring Coordinator, the Zoom event featured Jackie Cornog, Dean of Students, delivering some opening and inspiring remarks, virtual recognition of all the new student members of the honor society, and concluded with encouraging words from Leslie Tuplin, Department Chair of Construction Management.
BFIT’s new student Franklin Honor Society members are:
- Mustapha Bouazza (MET)
- Jason David (MET)
- Kisah Howe (CET)
- Gregory Lloyd Michel (AM)
- Eunice Ramos (BET)
- Claudino Teixeira (EE)
Students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.35 who have no current grade below C and have successfully completed a minimum of 12 credit hours during the semester are invited to participate as Franklin Scholars.
In a new tradition that began in fall 2020, the Franklin Honor Society also inducted one new faculty member as honorary member in recognition of outstanding contributions to BFIT that aid and support student success and achievement. Congratulations to Leslie Tuplin, Department Chair of Construction Management, on becoming the newest member of the Franklin Honor Society.
