This event is a fun and informative way to learn all about careers in the growing HVAC&R Technology and Electrician fields and the high-tech systems that help maximize energy efficiency in today’s buildings. Attending students will get an overview of HVAC&R Technology snd Practical Electricity careers and educational pathways, hear from industry leaders, do hands-on activities, and get a tour of the college’s labs and classrooms.

Celebrate Opticianry in Massachusetts at the 2024 Eye Ball, an evening of Introductions, Testimonials, Awards, and Appreciation with current Franklin Cummings Tech students, alumni, industry and corporate partners, directors, members, and honored guests. This free event is sponsored by the Opticianry Department in partnership with the Opticians Association of Massachusetts and will be preceded by a Career Fair featuring industry partners.
Career Fair is 5-7 PM in the college lobby; Eye Ball is 7-9 PM in the Auditorium.

Franklin Cummings Tech cordially invites you and a guest to join us for a private reception in Nubian Square: the future home of the Franklin Cummings Tech’s new campus. We will explore the rich cultural history of the square and share “behind the scenes” updates on the construction of our new campus. Join us for a post-event reception held at Roxbury Innovation Center (2300 Washington Street, 2nd floor, Roxbury) with Lara Tavares, Director of Early College and Community Connection at Franklin Cummings Tech. New Student Orientation is designed to prepare our incoming students for their academic program and life in college. Students will meet fellow classmates, faculty, staff, and student leaders.
Orientation is mandatory for all new students.
You must attend the entire session: 9 am – 3 pm. Lunch will be served.

We’ll be using computers at orientation, if you prefer to bring your own laptop please do so.
