Aisha Francis Named to Boston Employment Commission

BFIT Chief of Staff Aisha Francis was appointed to the City of Boston’s Employment Commission, which oversees the Boston Residents Job Policy. The policy sets goals for employment on City-assisted construction projects. The commission is made up of seven members selected by the Mayor.

Aisha will be an incredible addition to an important part of the city’s role of ensuring equitable involvement in future construction projects.

Proper representation in employment for private and public development projects in the City of Boston is an important step towards equality and ensuring important resources are uniformly allocated as our diverse city continues to grow.
