Auto Discovery Day

The Admissions team hosted more than 100 high school students yesterday for Auto Day, the latest event in our popular Discovery Day series. These free, 3-hour events connect visiting students with current Franklin Cummings Tech students and faculty for hands-on activities, engaging campus tours, lunch, and prizes. Discovery Days are held on our campus at 41 Berkeley Street, Boston.
Students learned how to work the car lift in the auto garage, how to diagnose a faulty alternator, and got a walkthrough of how an EV battery works. They also learned about the automotive registered apprenticeship program, through which students in the associate degree work for pay in their field of study, providing a path to better careers and higher salaries.
Many thanks to the 11 schools from across eastern Massachusetts that made the trip to our campus for this great event!
