2024 Academic Awards Ceremony
May 17, 2024
Franklin Cummings Tech hosted over 30 graduating students and their families this week at the 2024 Academic Awards Ceremony. The Awards Dinner honored 12 standout students who were selected by faculty to receive special department awards, based on the students’ academic achievement and leadership among their classmates. Also honored were student scholars who made the Dean’s List, which requires having at least a 3.5 GPA, no grade below a “C,” and earning at least 12 credits for the spring term.
“This is the elite group of the Class of 2024,” said Dean of Academics Dr. Marvin Loiseau. “College is not easy, but it’s worth it because now you all are ready to begin your careers. On Saturday [at Commencement}, I will have the privilege of shaking each one of your hands. You all had to deal with a lot of external barriers while going to school. You never gave up and you maintained your high academic standards.”
