The MBTA’s Income-Eligible pass program offers reduced fares on the bus, subway, Commuter Rail, Express Bus, and ferry to adults with lower incomes. These special CharlieCards can be loaded with cash value for roughly 50% reduced one-way fares, or $30 monthly Unlimited Ride cards!
Eligibility Requirements:
- Massachusetts Resident
- Have a Government ID
- Between age 18 and 64
- Enrolled in SNAP/EBT, MassGrant, MassHealth, TAFDC
