Annual Spring Career Fair Draws Record Attendance
April 14, 2022
Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology’s Spring Career Fair drew a record turnout of 172 students and 11 alums to connect with 58 top employers from industries including automotive, electrical engineering, engineering technology, HVAC&R, information technology, opticianry, real estate, and more.
The college was thrilled to bring this event back to life on our South End campus after a two-year hiatus because of COVID-19.
“The record attendance from both students and employers is a testament to how important it is to remain focused on delivering a career-ready workforce, which is at the forefront of our work day in and day out,” said President and CEO Aisha Francis.
The college prides itself on our 83% job placement rate for graduates, which is driven in large part by our close partnerships with industry. The career fair provides students and soon-to-be graduates with opportunities for internships, as well as part-time and full-time jobs in their chosen fields. In addition to meeting informally with students at their booths, 11 companies at this year’s fair conducted on-the-spot job interviews with selected students.
