Student Academic Awards Night

May 19, 2023

Franklin Cummings Tech hosted our best and brightest students and their families this week at the 2023 Academic Awards Dinner, bringing back a beloved annual tradition for the first time since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Awards Dinner honored 10 standout students who were selected by faculty to receive special department awards, based on the students’ academic achievement and leadership among their classmates. Also honored were student scholars who made the Spring Dean’s List, which includes having at least a 3.5 GPA, no grade below a “C,” and earning at least 12 credits for the spring term.

“We’re so happy to congratulate our strong, resilient students tonight,” said Dr. Aisha Francis, Franklin Cummings Tech President and CEO. “Each of you have performed splendidly and your faculty members have found you to be head and shoulders above your peers. There is something special about each of you.”
