Naomi Schuman, 2024 graduate of the Opticianry Associate’s degree program, got her start at Franklin Cummings Tech after Instructor George Bourque Jr. encouraged her to apply for the Opticianry program while she was employed at the optical store, Concord Optical, as front desk staff. She attended OA leadership conferences, and after graduating received her state license from O.A.M., Opticians Association of Massachusetts. She is now employed full time with Concord Optical and her goal is to become a Master Optician.
