Michael Goldstein

Michael GoldsteinChief Innovation Officer

Michael Goldstein’s mission as the college Chief Innovation Officer is to expand educational opportunities for students, strengthen industry connections to develop career-oriented programs, and attract adult learners to the technical college to support the college’s mission of delivering transformative technical and trade education across the region. He previously served as the Executive Director of the Verto Fund, an organization focused on lowering the cost of study abroad programs for low-income students. Prior to Verto Education, Goldstein served over 11 years at Year Up, most recently as the Chief of Staff of the Scalable Solutions team where he spearheaded workforce development efforts, successfully launched new campuses and academic tracks, and played an essential role in expanding the organization to accommodate 30,000 students. In addition to holding a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, he is proficient in Czech, Spanish, Hebrew, and Arabic.

Adrienne Palomeque

Adrienne PalomequeCo-op Director

Adrienne Palomeque oversees the co-op’s daily operations, including student recruitment, professionalism training, employer matching, onboarding, support for students and supervisors, database development, and partner engagement in construction management and automotive.
Adrienne comes to this work with a justice lens, thinking about access to resources for marginalized groups—in this case access to an entry point to a career. She was born, raised, and educated locally and is firmly committed to the Greater Boston community.

Fernando Rodriguez

Fernando Rodriguez Co-op Manager

Fernando Rodriguez, who joined the Co-op team in December 2024, works with students and their supervisors to ensure successful co-op placements. He brings a passion for skill-building, professional development, and community empowerment. His career has spanned coaching Latinx youth, supporting refugees and asylum seekers in career exploration, and guiding career changers in tech, shaping his holistic, people-first approach to equity and inclusion. He believes in knowledge sharing, authentic connections, and leading with empathy to empower individuals to navigate professional challenges and reach their potential. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the core of his work, ensuring every student has the tools to succeed in today’s workforce.

Koby Rotstein

Koby A. RotsteinStrategic Advisor, Corporate Development

Koby Rotstein is a workforce development consultant and more recently was a Director of Business Development at Year Up and Genesys Works. He also was a Strategic Sales Director at Per Scholas and currently is supporting Franklin Cummings Tech as a strategic advisor, Corporate Development.

In his consulting practice, Koby has started to work with several workforce development non-profits, providing them with strategic advice and guidance on growth and infrastructure. He is extremely skilled in identifying and developing strong relationships with new corporate partners who are open to host interns or hire underserved and under represented talent, including Justice Involved Individuals.

Koby had an extensive career in the telecom industry and has worked on complex projects involving software/hardware development, business development, account management, domestic and international sales.

He serves on several advisory boards and works closely with numerous organizations dedicated to help reduce recidivism, including: a culinary arts program, a software development training program geared for those returning home, and a group that has created a movement that transforms the lives of nonviolent offenders by recruiting, training, educating, and providing them with placement in the fitness industry. He graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, BSEE.
