Jenzabar Student Portal and Related Systems Are Live
Franklin Cummings Tech has implemented Jenzabar One, a cloud-based Student Information System that will provide an improved experience for student registration, financial aid, payments, and enrollment, as well extensive general ledger tools and resources for staff and faculty.
About the new Jenzabar Platform
What is Jenzabar One?
Jenzabar One (J1) is a flexible, cloud-based platform designed and built exclusively for higher education institutions. The J1 platform houses our Student Information Systems (SIS) and Financial Information System (FIS). All Franklin Cummings Tech employees now use J1 for tasks such as student enrollment, advising, grades, student billing, purchase orders, and vendor payment. The college will continue to use Paylocity for HR and Payroll.
What changed exactly?
J1 replaced our legacy student information system, CAMS, as well as the Student Portal and Faculty Portal. Jenzabar Recruitment Manager (JRM) replaced our former Salesforce instance. (JRM is used by the admissions team to manage applications/applicants.) We also launched the Jenzabar education portal (my.franklincummings.edu), a user-friendly website where:
- Students can clearly view their degree audit, guided pathway data, and class availability to fulfill their degree requirements and register for the upcoming term.
- Staff can create budget submissions, track expenses against the approved budget, and submit and approve expense requests.
