Co-op Interview Day 2025

Co-op Interview Day 2025 was a rousing success for our students and employers. A total of 70 students and 30 companies took part in the event.

“It’s a really great event for us and for the students,” said Megan Casey, HR Coordinator for Elaine Construction. “It’s exciting to see what all the students have learned since the last time we saw them.”

Employers noted that the students were well-prepared. They researched the companies, prepared their resumes, practiced their interview responses, dressed for success, and showed themselves to be hard-working, responsible, curious, and hungry for the opportunity. They even hand-wrote almost 200 professional thank you notes. Great job, students!

The next major Co-op event will be Match Day on Wednesday, March 26, where we announce all the employer/student matches. The event will also include a supervisor orientation for employers, the first 1:1 meeting between students and supervisors, and a Co-op Council meeting, where we’ll discuss plans for the co-op in the college’s 2025-29 strategic plan.
