Continuing Education and Workforce Programs

The Continuing Education and Workforce Programs (CEWP) department empowers adults who want to advance in tech and the trades.

We provide accessible on-ramps to education that allow adults to upskill or become career-ready in the tech and trade industries. Covering a range of foundational and advanced skills, our programs (for-credit and non-credit) give individuals from all walks of life a chance at entering or being promoted within a tech or trade career. Classes are held at convenient times, and many are offered online.

We also collaborate closely with employers and community organizations to design affordable, flexible custom training programs. Our goal is to help organizations ensure that their greatest assets— their employees or members— stay ahead of industry trends, enhancing productivity, employee satisfaction, and recruitment and retention efforts.

• Professional Land Surveying Courses (Fall 2024)
  14 weeks each | $610/credit | Online | Apply by August 23, 2024
  Designed for those currently working in the land surveying field, these specialized courses prepare you to become a registered Professional Land Surveyor in Massachusetts.

• Certificate in Construction Management (Fall 2024)
  One year (six courses) | $610/credit | Online | Apply by August 23, 2024
  The demand for construction management jobs is expected to increase much faster than average through 2030. A Certificate in Construction Management will give you a strong foundation in technical and organizational skills that apply to construction projects from conception to completion. You will also learn about sustainable building technologies, building materials and application methods, scheduling, and estimating.

Financial Aid is available

Students enrolled in certificate or associate degree programs within CEWP are able to apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA. The college will review a student’s eligibility for the MA State Grant, federal loans and grants as they pertain to each program and the student’s demonstrated level of financial need. Students must apply for financial aid for each year that they are planning to attend.
