Franklin Cummings Tech Annual Meeting and Alumni Panel

The college’s Annual Meeting is an opportunity to showcase the institution’s achievements of the past year to the board and top supporters. This year’s meeting also shone a light on the college’s most important ongoing achievement: our alums. The business portion of the 2023 Annual Meeting was immediately followed by a distinguished panel of successful Franklin Cummings Tech alums who shared stories and reflected on the role their experiences at Franklin Cummings Tech have played in their lives and careers. Spanning the decades, the grads included Joe Mario ’75,  Lino Grau ’90, and Hanna Quigley ’21. The panel discussion was led by business innovator Taneshia Camillo-Sheffey.

Guests at the Annual Meeting event were also able to test out virtual reality goggles with Eagle Wu, Co-Founder & CEO of Vinci VR. The VR technology—which is used by students in Franklin Cummings Tech’s Renewable Energy Technology associate degree program—simulates the experience of climbing up and making repairs to massive offshore wind turbines, which rise more than 500 feet high above the sea-level platform.
